Howard County Schools are closed...or the Snow Emergency Plan is in effect.  A recording will be placed on the church phone line 410 442-5506, and on the web page.

If Howard County Schools close early all evening activities will be cancelled.

Weddings and funerals will be at the decretion of the presiding pastor.

Join Pastor John Hevey for "Discovering My Ministry" 4 Sundays: February 14 - March 6, 9:45-10:45am.  Have you ever wondered what your purpose is?  Or, what talent/gift God has given you for ministry and where it can fit into the life of Friendship, or your community?  You want to be a part of this class.  Questions?  Give Pastor John a call at the church office.


Bring your smile and a warm touch and lend your voice to praising God with the residents of Angel's Touch (Rt. 144, W. Friendship).  Meeting:  Feb. 21, Mar. 20, Apr 24 & May 15 from 2-3pm.  Then a summer break; beginninging again in the Fall. Call the church office for details.


Join the gang as they plan and prepare for Spring Break in Cooper Park (4/17)!  No experience needed to be a puppeteer, however, you must be age 15 or older.  Rehearsals will be each Thursday beginning Feb. 25, 6:30pm, at church.  At the first meeting we'll brainstorm musical themes, explore large & small puppetry parts.  If you don't want to be a puppeteer, there are other postions to be filled.  COME ON OUT and have some FUN!  Questions? Join Pastor Mark Klimovitz in this intriquing look at prayer as explored and discussed by the authors, the Kendrick brothers, creators of the War Room.  Discussions will include types of prayer, hindrances to prayer, keys to effective prayer, praying stategically for the lost and for believers, alike.  Church history and personal sharing about real life encounters with God will peak your interest, too.  Mark your calendar for Jan. 20.  Donation of $7 for study guide.

Men, join Carter Stinchcomb for a 13-week DVD led study, "A Man and HIs Story".  Insightful teaching, inspiring testimonies, expert interviews and multiple creative features will help you look at your manhood and model it after Jesus Christ.  Contact Pastor Mark Klimovitz for more information.

AWANA Clubs Wednesdays, 6:45 - 8:00pm

Register your child for this wonderful interactive experience each Wed. night during the school year, beginning Sept. 9.  A detailed brochure is available; give the office call, or pick up one from the Welcome Desk.  AWANA GRAND PRIX RACE scheduled Friday, March 18.  Buy your racer on Wed night!


The Prayer Ministry invites the fellowship and community to join them for intercessory prayer.  Meet at church each Friday afternoon, 12:00 - 1:00.  Pray for our nation, communities, churches, family & friends; wherever God leads you.  Questions? Contact the church office.
