AWANA Clubs Begin Anew Wed., 9/3, 6:45-8:00 pm

Need more information about AWANA Clubs for children age 3 - Grade 6?  Call the office for a brochure.

LUNCH FOR THE HUNGRY 9/10

Donations of specific lunch items will be collected at church on Sunday, 9/7.  Sign up on the preceding Sundays using the bulletin insert.  Then 72 bagged lunches will be made to be distributed to those in need.  This is a combined effort by several local churches.  Questions?  Contact Beth Kay or the church office.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY Begins Again 9/14, 2:30pm

Meeting at Devra Rivera's Sykesville home to construct blankets, shawl's, etc. to be prayed over and given to a person experiencing an extended illness, or loss, or hospitalization.  Questions?  Call the church office.

KEEP THE SON SHINING Ladies Event

LOVE ... JOY ... PEACE ... Have them?  Then you have the SON (Jesus Christ)!  Sign up for a wonderful afternoon on Sunday, Sept. 21, 12:30 - 3:30, at church.  Lunch and a Program will cost only $5.  Sign up and Payment at the Welcome Desk in the foyer on 9/7 & 14.  Questions? POWER KIDZ KAMP, Weds., 5/28-8/27, 6:45-8:00pm

Summer fun for kids K-Grade 5!  No charge...Just register your child by calling the office.  Each child is eligible to earn a $5 Dairy Queen Gift Card by memorizing 11 Bible verses by the close of summer camp on 8/27.  And, each child will receive a free DQ cone coupon!

MONTHLY PRAYER WALKING, 10AM

The Prayer Ministry is coordinating this new outreach event.  Meet at the church the first Saturday each month, 10am.  Teams will be formed to walk through local communities and school lots.  Sign up at the church to participate.  Participate as your schedule allows.  Questions? COMMUNITY INVITED TO PRAY on FRIDAYS

The Prayer Ministry invites the fellowship and community to jointhem for intercessory prayer.  Meet at church each Friday afternoon, 12:00 - 1:00.  Pray for our nation, communities, churches, family & friends; wherever God leads you.  Questions? Contact the church office.

PROMISELAND (for infants thru age 4)

VOLUNTEERS . . . Consider joining a rotating team. There are several volunteers who will be taking breaks in their service.  PromiseLand is looking for helping hands.  Contact Laura Gulley for details 410 442-5506.

PromiseLand Family Event:  May 3 Piney Run Park & Nature Center...Registration required...Picnic lunch provided by church, playground/hiking trails, & Nature Center Tour...Pavillion open for you and your friends until 7pm if you'd like to "linger".

Learning is for everyone!  Every 12-weeks, new adult topical studies are introduced, affording people the opportunity to meet new people and explore a topic of interest.  Studies are designed so you can join the group at any time during the semester.
