PROMISELAND SPRING FAMILY EVENT, 5/22

Mom & dad of infants thru first grade (siblings welcome) register to attend this fun day at South Branch Park, Sykesville.  Peppermint Pony and a face painting artist will be our special guests.  Lunch and fun 12:30 - 3:00pm.  Register at PromiseLand.  Questions? Speak with Laura Gulley, Director.

ANGEL'S TOUCH ASSISTED LIVING HYMN SING

Bring your smile and a warm touch and lend your voice to praising God with the residents of Angel's Touch (Rt. 144, W. Friendship).  Meeting:  May 15 from 2-3pm.  Then a summer break; beginninging again in the Fall. Call the church office for details.

SAVE THE DATE! Mom & Son Event

Details forcoming in the Sunday bulletins but save Saturday, June 4, 1-4pm at Harry & Cindy Pressman's "Morning Breeze Farm" in Sykesville (rain date June 18).  Cost $5 for mom and son...$1 each additional boy.  Spend the afternoon with your son, grandson, or nephew ages 3 - Grade 5.  Take-home goodie bas, games, pony rides, and tour of the farm, plus a "Good Horse Sense...Caring and Encouraging" group presentation.  Lots of fun!

NEW GROUPS ON WEDNESDAY NIGHT

Beginning Wednesday January 20, 2016, 6:45-8:00pm:

Join Pastor Mark Klimovitz in this intriquing look at prayer as explored and discussed by the authors, the Kendrick brothers, creators of the War Room.  Discussions will include types of prayer, hindrances to prayer, keys to effective prayer, praying stategically for the lost and for believers, alike.  Church history and personal sharing about real life encounters with God will peak your interest, too.  Mark your calendar for Jan. 20.  Donation of $7 for study guide.

Men, join Carter Stinchcomb for a 13-week DVD led study, "A Man and HIs Story".  Insightful teaching, inspiring testimonies, expert interviews and multiple creative features will help you look at your manhood and model it after Jesus Christ.  Contact Pastor Mark Klimovitz for more information.

STUDENT MINISTRY

Friday Night Fellowship each week: Come on out 7:00-9:30pm for games, food, discussion.  And, the Student Ministry has some FUN on the calendar: ; Laser Tag, 2/26--Student Silent Auction @ EW Becks, Sykesville, 3/7--Area Student event, 4/29-30--M-Fuge Trip 6/27-7/2 (registration deadline 2/28).  For details, call the office and speak with Pastor TJ.

AWANA Clubs Wednesdays, 6:45 - 8:00pm

Register your child for this wonderful interactive experience each Wed. night during the school year, beginning Sept. 9.  A detailed brochure is available; give the office call, or pick up one from the Welcome Desk.  AWANA GRAND PRIX RACE scheduled Friday, March 18.  Buy your racer on Wed night!

COMMUNITY INVITED TO PRAY on FRIDAYS

The Prayer Ministry invites the fellowship and community to join them for intercessory prayer.  Meet at church each Friday afternoon, 12:00 - 1:00.  Pray for our nation, communities, churches, family & friends; wherever God leads you.  Questions? Contact the church office.
